Our Medical Transcription Process
The dictations received by the Doctors are downloaded to servers in India. The dictations are then decrypted and distributed to transcriptionist. The tendencies and strengths of each transcriptionist are considered while deciding which specialty/doctor dictation goes to which transcriptionist.
After the transcriptionist complete the medical transcriptions, they are deposited into a folder from where they are picked up by first level assurors (QA1), who are more experienced and more proficient, and they perform word-by-word checking to eliminate errors and omissions.
After the first level of assurors complete editing, the medical transcriptions are put into a separate folder from where they are picked up by proofers or account managers (QA2). Their job is to make the medical transcription client acceptable in terms of quality and specifications
